2020-2021 - Scheduled times for members to work during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Pause all classes.
2022 - Classes Resume. Brad Husk- Kiln Master & Studio Manager and Meg Smallwood starts as Interior Studio Manager.
Studio clean out adds more membership spaces.
2023 - Studio receives YSCF Grant to expand- adds air conditioning, heating, new glaze room, chemical storage shed and member workroom, additional membership spaces.
Successful first annual studio fall fundraiser in collaboration with YS Brewery- establishes the scholarship fund.
Cathy Mills becomes second Artist in Residence.
2024 - Final firing of the wood kiln after an estimated 130 firings. Brad Husk resigns after 13 years.
Meg Smallwood - Studio Director. Kiln Yard clean up.
Second annual studio fall fundraiser with YS Brewery.
Cone 10 glaze combo wall completed.
2025 - Bruce Grimes promoted to Artist in Residence Emeritus.
Wood firing kiln removed.
Studio receives YSCF Grant to stabilize infrastructure: adds second clean up sink, replaces rotting parts of outdoor kiln shed, new gas kiln burners, additional storage shed.
Studio receives and installs a brand new top-hat Raku kiln donated by the McGinnis Family.
Robin Dakin becomes Artist in Residence. Pit kiln firings begin.
